Kier boss leaves to become Rydon construction head

Rydon Construction has appointed Mark Norris as Construction Director to oversee projects across London and the South East.

Norris joins after a brief stint at Kier where he was Regional Operations Director for just over a year.

Prior to Kier Norris spent 20 years at Wates most recently as Operations Director for the Southern Home Counties Region.

Mark Mitchener, Managing Director of Rydon Construction, said: “Mark has the right combination of wide-ranging experience and a dedication to quality.

Mark succeeds Constructor Director Simon Moore who has been with Rydon for 26 years and plans to retire next month.
