Midlands and southern housing procurement group Central Housing Investment Consortium has named its line-up of regional and nation contractors for a near £1bn homes upgrades and repairs framework.

A total of 33 firms secured places on the Multiple Elements framework, split into two big lots covering both internal and external housing upgrades and responsive repairs works.

The four-year deal is open to over 200 CHIC clients members, primarily housing associations and local authorities, but also members from the health and education sectors.

Mini-competitions and direct awards will be used to procure work, with quality weighted at 50%, social value 10% and price 40%.
