Winchmore Brickwork Group has landed the latest package deal at The Lazari Building on New Bond Street in west London.

Faithdean is main contractor on the job to transform the former Fenwick store into a £1bn office and retail complex designed by Foster + Partners.

The Erith Group is also playing a major role in the technically challenging project which involves jacking entire floor slabs and façades to create higher ceilings and improved alignment.

Winchmore will be working on alterations, extensions, and sensitive retention across basement, retail, and ten upper office floors.

The company said: “We thank Faithdean for placing their trust in us to deliver such a prestigious, high-value project in the heart of London’s Mayfair Conservation Area. As a new client, we’re excited to begin this relationship and work together on one of London’s most iconic redevelopments.

“Securing such a project also enables our renowned apprenticeship scheme to thrive, with the next generation of bricklayers carrying out intricate, handset traditional brickwork — craftsmanship at its finest.

“For Winchmore this is more than just a project — it’s an opportunity to help shape a building that blends two centuries of architectural evolution with a sustainable, forward-looking future — proudly delivered alongside Faithdean, Foster + Partners, and Erith.”
