Enfield Council is preparing to set up a panel of preferred firms to deliver around £135m of infrastructure works for the £6bn Meridian Water development in North London
The scope of works covers strategic utility services and highways, demolition, earthworks, land remediation and bridges infrastructure at the site.
The council is holding a bidders day on 26 April for interested firms ahead of launching the framework bid race in May.
Firms will be shortlisted in June with awards to the 5-year framework expected in February 2020.
Enfield took direct control for delivering the 10,000-home scheme when Barratt pulled out of its development partnership over a year ago.
Meridian Water will regenerate 85 hectares of land creating a new district in London with schools, health facilities, rail infrastructure and new open spaces.
Firms can submit an interest in the bidders day on the ProContract procurement website or confirm attendance by email by 21 April 2019.
