Bristol City Council has selected 30 firms for a £288m highways and civils framework covering 10 separate lots running until 2029.

Big names like Eurovia, Tarmac, Breedon, Colas, Octavius and Taylor Woodrow join a mix of regional and SME players to share in work ranging from surfacing to bridge repairs and major highway rebuilds across the South West.

The Highways Asset Management and Civils Framework is split into 10 lots including surfacing, civils up to and over £500k, geotechnical works, bridge maintenance, traffic management and line marking.

Call-offs will be made via direct award or mini-competition depending on lot structure.

Some packages are reserved for contractors who priced the works in advance, while others will go to further competition.
