Murphy has won a \u00a310m infrastructure deal from gas network Cadent.<\/p>\n

Work will involve rebuilding four \u2018Above ground installations\u2019 (AGI) in Rochdale and Hollinwood, in the North West gas distribution network, a third AGI in Peter\u2019s Green, in the East of England, and a pressure reduction station in Kenton, North London.<\/p>\n

Murphy will shortly be starting site surveys and design work with the programme due to be completed by the end of 2020.<\/p>\n

Darren Elsom, Director of Construction, Cadent, said: \u201cWe\u2019re continually investing to make sure our networks are fit for the future.<\/p>\n

“These four sites are reaching the natural end of their working lives. We have decided to completely rebuild them.<\/p>\n

\u201cEach one involves major engineering, with unique challenges at each site.<\/p>\n
