Kier has come top of the monthly contracts league for work won in November and continued to hold pole position in the 12-month rolling league table.<\/p>\n

According to information specialist Glenigan<\/a>,\u00a0Kier bagged 27 contracts during the month, worth an estimated \u00a3600m.<\/p>\n

The largest was a \u00a3300m luxury flats scheme in London for developer Concord. Kier will redevelop the former car park site in Marylebone into 79 flats and 11 shops.<\/p>\n

The big project win at Moxton Street extended Kier’s lead in the annualised contracts league, ahead of Wates and Morgan Sindall.<\/p>\n

Among the other major orders in November, Lendlease secured a \u00a3350m contract for the 2022 Commonwealth Games development in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

Engineering contractor Burmeister & Wain won a \u00a3180m contract for waste to energy plant at Hooton Park for Aviva & Cogen.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0 Kier VolkerFitzpatrick joint venture\u00a0nabbed a \u00a3160m job to deliver new infrastructure to ready RAF Lakenheath for the first permanent home in Europe of the US Air Force F-35 Fighter Jet.<\/p>\n

McLaren secured the \u00a3120m mixed-use redevelopment of the iconic Amex House project in Brighton for First Base while John Sisk was confirmed as major contractor on \u00a3183m 2one2 Broad Street in Birmingham for Moda.<\/p>\n
