{"id":1267,"date":"2018-12-10T08:08:12","date_gmt":"2018-12-10T08:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=1267"},"modified":"2018-12-10T08:08:12","modified_gmt":"2018-12-10T08:08:12","slug":"750m-east-of-england-framework-out-for-rebid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/750m-east-of-england-framework-out-for-rebid\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a3750m East of England framework out for rebid"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<div class=\"standfirst\">\n<p>Suffolk County Council has formally launched renewal of its construction framework expected to deliver a work pipeline of \u00a3750m.<\/p>\n<p>Fourteen contractors are preparing to renew their places on Suffolk County Council\u2019s construction framework, which is also open to councils in the East of England.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>The four-year framework will be used for public sector building works,\u00a0and presently has Morgan Sindall, Wates, RG Carter and Barnes Construction holding the high-value work bands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"95430\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nasc.org.uk%2Fnews%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CE_NASC_FREE-GUIDANCE.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The framework will be managed by Concertus Design and Property Consultants, a wholly owned company of the council.<\/p>\n<p>This time around, the\u00a0council plans to introduce four value bands to replace the three presently used.<\/p>\n<div class=\"break-out-box\">\n<h3>East of England construction framework<\/h3>\n<p>\u2014 Band 1: projects valued up to \u00a3750,000<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Band 2: projects from \u00a30.5m to \u00a33.5m<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Band 3: projects from \u00a32.75m\u00a0 \u2013 \u00a310m<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Band 4 Projects over\u00a0 \u00a38m<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The new framework should be in place by June next year.
