{"id":1761,"date":"2019-01-04T07:04:07","date_gmt":"2019-01-04T07:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=1761"},"modified":"2019-01-04T07:04:07","modified_gmt":"2019-01-04T07:04:07","slug":"dozen-firms-bag-1-5bn-north-west-construction-hub-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/dozen-firms-bag-1-5bn-north-west-construction-hub-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Dozen firms bag \u00a31.5bn North West Construction Hub deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>North West Construction Hub has picked a dozen contractors for its third generation high-value framework deal for projects worth more than \u00a38m.<\/p>\n<p>The procurement body has rung the changes with previously successful firms Galliford Try and Morgan Sindall failing to gain places on any of the three lots this time around.<\/p>\n<p>Laing O&#8217;Rourke secured only one a place on the lower value project lot despite biding for all three.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"209475\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.faset.org.uk%2Fguidance-2%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CE_FASET-MPU_JULY18.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Other high-profile names to miss out are Interserve and Willmott Dixon.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time Balfour Beatty, Bouygues, Graham and Vinci win places, while BAM, Kier and Wates successfully retained their places for another four years.<\/p>\n<p>Other newcomers to the high-value framework, joining the roster on lower value lots include: Conlon, Bowmer &#038; Kirkland, ISG, Seddon and Eric Wright.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"163817\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.constructionenquirer.com%2Fdirectory%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/enquirer_directory_mpu.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Since its establishment in 2009, the NWCH has delivered 374 projects for 101 clients, worth more than \u00a31.8bn. framework chief Joanna Chomeniuk said:\u00a0&#8220;Feedback from the assessors was that the calibre of tender responses was excellent, and it is very exciting to see some new names join our existing partners.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are already some interesting projects lined up with clients who have been eagerly awaiting this announcement\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Darren Lee, Commercial Director at Conlon, said: &#8220;As a North West regional contractor we have completed 24 NWCH projects to date, on both the Low and Medium frameworks over the past 6 years. <\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu
