{"id":1879,"date":"2019-01-08T18:38:29","date_gmt":"2019-01-08T18:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=1879"},"modified":"2019-01-08T18:38:29","modified_gmt":"2019-01-08T18:38:29","slug":"staticus-lands-latest-facade-deal-in-salford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/staticus-lands-latest-facade-deal-in-salford\/","title":{"rendered":"Staticus lands latest facade deal in Salford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lithuanian facade specialist Staticus has been appointed to design, manufacture and install nearly 9,000 square metres of cladding at Two New Bailey Square in Salford, Manchester.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next 12 months Staticus will install a combination of unitised timber and aluminium stick fa\u00e7ades across a total area of 8,700 square meters on the office complex.<\/p>\n<p>Staticus will manufacture the unitised fa\u00e7ade panels in its factory in Lithuania, equipped to operate up to 12 simultaneous production lines, before delivering them to Two New Bailey Square for installation.<\/p>\n<p>Staticus UK MD Paulius Gurksnys said: \u201cAn interesting aspect of this project is the external structural steel frame with its visible connections and splices left exposed and protruding from the fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhilst this is unique and looks extremely striking, it means that we will need to use special sealing and prefabrication techniques to build the cladding units and overlay the fa\u00e7ade panels.
