{"id":2005,"date":"2019-01-14T08:02:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-14T08:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=2005"},"modified":"2019-01-14T08:02:00","modified_gmt":"2019-01-14T08:02:00","slug":"kier-to-start-100m-ascot-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/kier-to-start-100m-ascot-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Kier to start \u00a3100m Ascot hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kier has got the final go-ahead to start the \u00a3100m Heatherwood Hospital project in Ascot for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals for the build were first announced back in 2014, with the hospital gaining planning in August 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Built in woodland behind the current site, it will have six operating theatres and 48 inpatient beds, plus 22-day case cubicles.<\/p>\n<p>The new hspital will specialise in planned, non-emergency procedures such as orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology and endoscopy.
