{"id":2145,"date":"2019-01-17T08:38:34","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T08:38:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=2145"},"modified":"2019-01-17T08:38:34","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T08:38:34","slug":"go-ahead-for-60m-nottingham-hmrc-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/go-ahead-for-60m-nottingham-hmrc-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"Go-ahead for \u00a360m Nottingham HMRC hub"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peveril Securities and its joint venture partner Sladen Estates has got the planning green light for a landmark city centre development in Nottingham.<\/p>\n<p>The planned 277,000 sq ft Unity Square building will become HMRC&#8217;s latest regional hub and will be the most significant building project in the city for several years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p>Peveril Securities is the development arm of builder\u00a0Bowmer &amp; Kirkland which is expected\u00a0to deliver the building, forming part of the \u00a3250m\u00a0Southern Gateway regeneration.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2018-11-15-at-14.03.18.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-254724\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2018-11-15-at-14.03.18.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1070\" height=\"788\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This will see\u00a0the landscape around the nearby train station transformed.<\/p>\n<p>The new 10-storey building will be the first of two phases with a second phase taller 12-storey building granted outline planning by the city council.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p>Both phases\u00a0were designed by 5Plus Architects\u00a0with\u00a0DBS and Couch Perry Wilkes providing building services design and\u00a0BWB Consulting the structural\u00a0design<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_254723\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2018-11-15-at-14.02.16.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-254723 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2018-11-15-at-14.02.16.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"902\" height=\"598\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Second phase building sits on a narrower footprint than phase one and will\u00a0rise to 12 floors providing over 200,000 sq ft<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Ralph Jones, MD of Peveril Securities Jones, said: \u201cThere is significant long-term investment in this area of the city.
