{"id":2306,"date":"2019-01-23T08:55:22","date_gmt":"2019-01-23T08:55:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=2306"},"modified":"2019-01-23T08:55:22","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T08:55:22","slug":"bk-bags-third-manchester-old-bailey-office-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/bk-bags-third-manchester-old-bailey-office-project\/","title":{"rendered":"B&#038;K bags third Manchester Old Bailey office project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The English Cities Fund, a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal &amp; General and Homes England, has appointed Bowmer &amp; Kirkland as contractor on the 157,000 sq ft third office development at New Bailey in Salford, Greater Manchester. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bowmer &amp; Kirkland has a strong track record at New Bailey, having already successfully delivered a Premier Inn, One New Bailey and is currently on site at Two New Bailey Square. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Neil Brook, regional director, from Bowmer &amp; Kirkland, said the Grade A office project is due to start on site in early 2019, with completion due in early 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There are currently four other live projects under construction at New Bailey, including Riverside House and the third phase of the residential development at The Slate Yard. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Phil Mayall, regional director at The English Cities Fund, said: &#8220;It is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team at Bowmer &amp; Kirkland that it has been selected again for the development of a third office building at New Bailey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;The team has worked well with the fund to deliver the previous buildings, on time and on budget, which is extremely important on such a large and complex mixed-use regeneration development.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The BREEAM \u2018Excellent\u2019 Three New Bailey building will comprise the ground floor and six storeys and will be situated on New Bailey Street, immediately adjacent to Salford Central station, fronting a large new area of high-quality public realm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<p>from Construction Enquirer http:\/\/bit.ly\/2AXfL3W<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The English Cities Fund, a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal &amp; General and Homes England, has appointed Bowmer &amp; Kirkland as contractor on the 157,000 sq ft third office development at New Bailey in Salford, Greater Manchester.
