This followed the sale of its Timber Yard scheme in a 3-day launch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"94471\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wicona.co.uk%2Fen%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/W_CE_140818.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The latest \u00a3165m canal-side development is located on a 11.7-acre\u00a0derelict site on Dudley Road and will also include the creation of new public realm and parks.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_286765\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Soho-Loop-canal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-286765 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Soho-Loop-canal.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"5000\" height=\"5000\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The developers are proposing a new public waterfront space to make the most of the scheme\u2019s canal-side location.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The site bound by Spring Hill and Western Road, and the Main Line Canal forms part of the Greater Icknield Masterplan, the largest brownfield housing-led redevelopment framework within Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"165577\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.haki.com%2Fproduct%2Fhaki-stair-towers%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" class=\"s1\">Claridge Architects, which worked with the joint venture partnership on its Timber Yard development in Southside, has masterplanned and designed the Soho Wharf scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_286766\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Soho-Loop-townhouses.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-286766 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Soho-Loop-townhouses.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"5000\" height=\"5000\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Soho Wharf will offer 106 two and three-bedroom townhouses and 650 one and two-bedroom apartments<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">New pedestrian, cycle and vehicle routes will also be created to enable public access through the site, with a new canal bridge connecting Soho Wharf with the existing towpath to provide a direct route into the city centre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Stephen Conway, executive chairman of Galliard Homes, said: \u201cSoho Wharf is one of the most exciting regeneration opportunities in Birmingham, transforming what is currently a derelict industrial site, just a short walk along the canal from the city centre, into a thriving residential community and local hub for leisure and
