British Gypsum and its specialist supply partner Nevill Long has supplied materials for a \u00a312m regeneration of the Queen\u2019s Hall in Dunoon, Scotland.<\/p>\n
During the year-long build, the team had to overcome a number of challenges to ensure the renovation was a success.<\/p>\n
In particular, delivering products to site in a cost-effective and timely manner became a major logistical issue that British Gypsum and distributor Nevill Long worked closely together to solve.<\/p>\n
Included in the client\u2019s renovation plans were a number of complicated acoustic and fire performance upgrades that were difficult to achieve with standard drylining products.<\/p>\n
During a consultation with the contractor McLaughlin & Harvey, the team at Nevill Long recommended a number of British Gypsum\u2019s drylining solutions, including Gyproc SoundBloc and Gyproc Habito plasterboards, for use in the auditorium.<\/p>\n
