{"id":3790,"date":"2019-03-07T18:06:47","date_gmt":"2019-03-07T18:06:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=3790"},"modified":"2019-03-07T18:06:47","modified_gmt":"2019-03-07T18:06:47","slug":"major-scaffold-collapse-in-north-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/major-scaffold-collapse-in-north-london\/","title":{"rendered":"Major scaffold collapse in north London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 200 square metres of scaffolding collapsed in high winds on Thursday in north London.<\/p>\n<p>The four-storey scaffold fell on to Pond Street near the Royal Free Hospital and Hampstead Heath.<\/p>\n<p>A London Fire Brigade statement said: &#8220;Approximately 200 square metres of scaffolding from ground to third floor level\u00a0collapsed into the road way.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"298010\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Findd.adobe.com%2Fview%2Fb2581381-55f0-4d6c-90f1-3cb65aeeab7b%3F1\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Construction Enquirer MPU.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Surrounding buildings\u00a0were evacuated as a precaution and a cordon was put in place.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thankfully there were no reports of any injuries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Brigade was called at 1448 and the incident was over by 1702.
