to revolutionise project delivery at Sellafield.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The new Programme and Project Partners model will establish long-term relationships to deliver the site\u2019s decommissioning programme more safely, efficiently and cost effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This will\u00a0consists\u00a0<\/span>of a\u00a0complex portfolio of construction projects, stretching over many decades with an estimated spend of \u00a34.5bn.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of procuring supply chains for each major project, Sellafield&#8217;s in-house team will now work collaboratively with its four partners over the long-term.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"120377\" \u00a3750m)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">Design and Engineering \u2013 Wood Nuclear (est value \u00a3750m)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">Civils Construction Management \u2013 Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure (est value \u00a31.5bn)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">Process Construction Management \u2013 Doosan Babcock (est value \u00a31.5bn)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The selected firms will work together to deliver three initial major projects.\u00a0\u00a0The SPRS Retreatment Plant, SIXEP Contingency Plant and Replacement Analytical Project, together estimated at \u00a31bn \u2013 \u00a31.7bn).<\/p>\n<p>Further major projects in the pipeline still need more detailed project definition and are valued at \u00a31.9bn-2.8bn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Martin Chown, Sellafield Ltd supply chain director, said:\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe Programme and Project
