Sir Robert McAlpine commercial director Martin Pitt has left the firm.<\/p>\n

Pitt joined McAlpine nearly fours\u00a0year ago from Morgan Sindall after a management\u00a0shake-up ending a 17-year career with the firm.<\/p>\n

He is understood to have left after a\u00a0boardroom\u00a0disagreement.<\/p>\n

Pitt will work out his notice period working alongside the business in order to help close out a critical commercial project.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for Sir Robert McAlpine said: “Martin Pitt has decided it\u2019s time for him to move on\u00a0<\/span>from Sir Robert McAlpine in order to pursue new challenges and\u00a0 opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Martin has stepped down with immediate effect as Commercial Director. Leighton More, chief financial officer will assume responsibility for all commercial matters whilst the business reviews its needs in line with our five-year strategic objectives.”<\/span><\/p>\n
