{"id":4148,"date":"2019-03-19T10:35:34","date_gmt":"2019-03-19T10:35:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=4148"},"modified":"2019-03-19T10:35:34","modified_gmt":"2019-03-19T10:35:34","slug":"water-winners-revealed-for-2bn-severn-trent-spend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/water-winners-revealed-for-2bn-severn-trent-spend\/","title":{"rendered":"Water winners revealed for \u00a32bn Severn Trent spend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Midlands water giant Severn Trent has announced details of the first contractors it intends to use to deliver \u00a32bn of construction projects in the AMP7 spending round.<\/p>\n<p>The water company has changed the way that it intends to carry out the work between 2020 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>It will bring the design work in-house, including the creation of a new specialist design team, and will work with more contractors than before.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"209475\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.faset.org.uk%2Fmembers%2Ffaset-member-list%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CE_FASET-MPU_FEB19.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The framework has been structured into four defined Lots.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capital Delivery Design and Build Frameworks (Lot 1)<\/li>\n<li>Three separate Capital Delivery Build Only Frameworks (Lot 2, 3 and 4)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"text parbase\">\n<p>The successful contractors for the first two lots are:<\/p>\n<div class=\"break-out-box\">\n<p><strong>Lot 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amey Utility Services Limited<\/p>\n<p>Costain Limited<\/p>\n<p>J.
