{"id":4242,"date":"2019-03-22T08:26:36","date_gmt":"2019-03-22T08:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=4242"},"modified":"2019-03-22T08:26:36","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T08:26:36","slug":"morgan-sindall-seals-1bn-essex-council-development-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/morgan-sindall-seals-1bn-essex-council-development-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Morgan Sindall seals \u00a31bn Essex council development deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"span9\">\n<p>Morgan Sindall has signed another major development deal with a council in the south east to deliver major regeneration schemes.<\/p>\n<p>The group&#8217;s investment arm will work with Brentwood Borough Council as development partner to deliver housing on council sites with up to \u00a31bn worth of schemes over the next 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>The award of the contract to set up the 50:50 joint venture with Morgan Sindall is subject to full Council approval.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"122797\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n<SCRIPT language='JavaScript1.1' SRC=\"https:\/\/ad.doubleclick.net\/ddm\/adj\/N6250.2036112CONSTRUCTIONENQUIRE\/B22323192.240763326;sz=300x250;ord=[timestamp];dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=?\"><br \/>\n<\/SCRIPT><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Brentwood Borough Council Leader, Cllr Louise McKinlay said: \u201cThis is the largest and most significant project Brentwood Borough Council has ever undertaken.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have a grand vision of what we want our town to become and this opportunity is a once in a lifetime chance to make this a reality.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our residents will, over the coming months and years, be able to see a real change that will build on our heritage and create a Town of the future for generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"93789\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.constructionline.co.uk%2Fevents%2F\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Constructionline-MTB-GIF.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Wes Erlam, Managing Director of Morgan Sindall Investments said: \u201cThe 50:50 JV will mean the council can retain control over how its land is developed and the pace and scale of that development.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>By May last year, 15 organisations had applied to become the Joint Venture Partner which will work on sites including William Hunter Way.
