{"id":4362,"date":"2019-03-26T12:02:09","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T12:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=4362"},"modified":"2019-03-26T12:02:09","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T12:02:09","slug":"mclaren-wins-27m-north-london-hq-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/mclaren-wins-27m-north-london-hq-job\/","title":{"rendered":"McLaren wins \u00a327m North London HQ job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>McLaren Construction has secured the \u00a326.7m job to build a headquarters in North London for software giant Metaswitch.<\/p>\n<p>Property specialist Stoford Developments is\u00a0developing the 66,000 sq ft office building on a one-acre site in Enfield.<\/p>\n<p>Work is expected to start at the Genotin Road site this month, with McLaren erecting a five-storey building to BREEAM \u2018Excellent\u2019 standard over the 20-month programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"122797\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n<SCRIPT language='JavaScript1.1' SRC=\"https:\/\/ad.doubleclick.net\/ddm\/adj\/N6250.2036112CONSTRUCTIONENQUIRE\/B22323192.243432540;sz=300x250;ord=[timestamp];dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=?\"><br \/>\n<\/SCRIPT><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The building will hold an advanced data centre, rooftop conference centre as well as feature, full-height atrium, for up to 500 staff.<\/p>\n<p>Stoford director Gerard Ludlow said: \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have reached the next stage of this major\u00a0investment for Metaswitch by appointing a contractor to deliver this impressive headquarters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"299526\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.grid-point.co.uk%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-Point-MPU-300x250-Feb-19-V1.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not only good news for the company, which is growing, it is also good news for the town, because a major employer is committed to remaining in the area where it started more than 30 years ago, creating new jobs and opportunities.
