Contractors working through the suite of Pagabo\u00a0frameworks have achieved a major milestone delivering more than \u00a31bn of social value for clients.<\/span><\/p>\n

The specialist procurement group is measuring social value to equip clients with a clear measurement of the full benefits derived from their investment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Figures compiled for Pagabo by\u00a0Social Profit Calculator show that\u00a0<\/span>the social impact through employment alone saw the creation of 691 new jobs, as well as 468 work placement positions and 173 apprentices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regionally\u00a0Pagabo\u2019s\u00a0selected contractors delivered \u00a3420m of social value in the\u00a0north and \u00a3427m in London and the south-east, accounting for almost 80% of the total UK social value gains through the frameworks.<\/span><\/p>\n

The measurements are being used to allow public authorities to address social wellbeing obligation when awarding contracts under the Public Services (Social Value) Act, 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n
