Greek island set at O2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stevenage fit-out specialist Conamar has taken the starring role in delivering plans to re-create the Mamma Mia greek island film set in London&#8217;s O2 centre.<\/p>\n<p>The Mamma Mia Party set will transform an empty unit at The O2 into the Mediterranean paradise featured in the ABBA musical.<\/p>\n<p>Conamar, which has previously worked on fit-outs for John Lewis and Selfridges, will now help realise the vision of architect Haworth Tompkins, which will see guests step inside the venue and be transported to a Greek taverna, complete with a fountain, olive trees and bougainvillea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"95499\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcisrs.org.uk%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CISRS Scrolling Ads for Construction Enquirer.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The scope of Conamar\u2019s work includes forming the new mezzanine level, adding an aerialist platform, creating low-level terraces and balconies and reconfiguring existing services to suit the new function of the building.<\/p>\n<p>Ingrid Sutej, producer at Mamma Mia! The Party said: \u201cWe are delighted to have appointed Conamar as the principal contractor for the architectural fit-out works.
