{"id":4770,"date":"2019-04-09T06:43:32","date_gmt":"2019-04-09T06:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=4770"},"modified":"2019-04-09T06:43:32","modified_gmt":"2019-04-09T06:43:32","slug":"isg-wins-47m-west-london-mixed-use-revamp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/isg-wins-47m-west-london-mixed-use-revamp\/","title":{"rendered":"ISG wins \u00a347m West London mixed-use revamp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">ISG has secured the job to repurpose an unremarkable grey building on London&#8217;s famous Kensington High Street into a landmark commercial office and retail scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The corner plot next to Kensington High Street Tube station is now known as the Boots building\u00a0but was formerly home to the renowned Pontings\u00a0building &#8211; one of the original trio of iconic department stores in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The building was acquired three months ago by AshbyCapital, the property investment advisory company, from Columbia Threadneedle Investments.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"145884\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemoexpo2019.com%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/NFDC - Construciton Enquirer - March 2019 1.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To speed the construction programme by six months, ISG will\u00a0retain part of the existing structure and construct two extra floors to double the current volume of office space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Designed by architect Pilbrow &amp; Partners, the new building will be clad with\u00a0pale white brick and Portland stone.
