seeks developer for \u00a3750m city revamp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Swansea Council is to start the hunt for a development partner for its proposed \u00a3750m redevelopment of major city sites.<\/p>\n<p>The long-term strategic development partner would help the council regenerate locations such as Swansea Central Phase Two, the Civic Centre site, the Sailbridge site, and a large area of the former Hafod-Morfa Copperworks site.<\/p>\n<p>Swansea Central Phase Two is much of the city centre area between St Mary\u2019s and St David\u2019s Churches; parts of the copperworks site are already reserved for development by Penderyn Whisky and Skyline New Zealand.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"316743\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=mailto%3Aenquiries%40ntsafety.com%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/NTS-UK-Comp1.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Other areas include the sites of the former Oxford Street School and St Thomas Station, an area bordered by the River Tawe and the lower part of the A4217.<\/p>\n<p>The council will publish an OJEU notice in the next 48 hours seeking expressions interest from potential partners. <\/p>\n<p>Council leader Rob Stewart said: \u201cWe are transforming Swansea city centre and we want to continue the regeneration with a great businesses partner on board.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"94471\" substantial land owner and we want to deliver regeneration through a number of significant and strategic sites over the short, medium and long term &#8211; and to identify further opportunities from our land holdings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to explore all options of innovative property delivery models that will deliver maximum benefits to the people and economy of Swansea.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new
