Modular housing specialist TopHat has secured a \u00a375m investment to grow its Derbyshire-based operations.<\/p>\n

Investment bank Goldman Sachs is backing the firm’s growth plans after it went into full production for the historic\u00a0Kitchener Barracks redevelopment in Chatham, Kent.<\/p>\n

The housing scheme will welcome residents this summer and is a showcase for TopHat\u2019s design-differentiated product.<\/p>\n

Founded in early 2016, TopHat started production in early 2018 at its manufacturing facility in South Derbyshire.<\/p>\n

Jordan Rosenhaus, CEO of TopHat, said: \u201cWe are incredibly excited to have Goldman Sachs as an investor in TopHat.<\/p>\n

“This transaction is a sign of the tremendous progress TopHat has made since it was established and the significant market opportunity in the housing and digital construction sectors in the UK.<\/p>\n
