hires Laing O\u2019Rourke infrastructure ops director"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Robertson has lured Laing O&#8217;Rourke infrastructure director Bryan Glass to head its civil engineering business.<\/p>\n<p>Glass, a chartered civil engineer, will bring his 35 years\u2019 industry experience to Robertson, strengthening the team\u2019s credentials by implementing a strategic growth plan in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>He was most recently an operations director at Laing O\u2019Rourke\u2019s infrastructure business and represented its interests on two joint venture boards for the Manchester Metrolink Programme with VolkerRail, and its \u00a3300m enabling works project with J Murphy and Sons in the North area of HS2 Phase 1.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"316743\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=mailto%3Aenquiries%40ntsafety.com%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" a pivotal role in delivering Heathrow Terminal 2A, and Manchester Terminal 2.<\/p>\n<p>Derek Shewan, CEO of Robertson said: \u201cBryan will provide strategic and focussed leadership to the business, appointment follows the latest high-profile contract win for the civil engineering business, as work continues on the Duntanlich Service Infrastructure project in Perthshire for MI
