The deal is structured to allow the framework to be reopened to new entrants in years 3 and 5.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"670\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"164719\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FConEnq25%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"841\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"841\"><strong data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"724\">Lot 1:<\/strong> Minor works \u2013 such as white lining, small-scale surfacing, paving and localised footpath and cycleway improvements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"956\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"956\"><strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"854\">Lot 2:<\/strong> Medium-sized works \u2013 junction upgrades, public realm schemes, pedestrian crossings, and resurfacing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1114\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"1114\"><strong data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"969\">Lot 3:<\/strong> Major infrastructure \u2013 large-scale capital projects including ring road upgrades, highways realignment and major public infrastructure schemes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1233\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1233\"><strong data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1127\">Lot 4:<\/strong> Design and build \u2013 integrated packages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1520\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1520\"><strong data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1246\">Lot 5:<\/strong> Early contractor involvement \u2013\u00a0 early design stages to advise on buildability and cost efficiency<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"497328\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ciobacademy.org%2Fcourses%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" packages.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1641\">Birmingham City Council aims to formally invite tenders on 10 June with contracts starting on 19 January 2026, running until January 2034.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1986\">Interested firms need to complete a pre-market engagement questionnaire by 5pm on 19 May via the council\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/in-tendhost.co.uk\/birminghamcc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In-tend portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"78\" data-end=\"208\">Birmingham City Council is gearing up to launch a new \u00a3400m framework for transport and infrastructure consultancy services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"210\" data-end=\"464\">A soft market testing exercise is now live ahead of the planned June launch of the multi-disciplinary professional services framework covering everything from engineering design and cost management to heritage, ecology, air quality, and 3D visualisation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"639\">The eight-year deal will be open to local public sector bodies across the region and is expected to generate significant interest from specialist consultants and SMEs alike.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"639\">The professional services framework is due go live from 24 November 2025<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1724\"
