Morgan Sindall has broken ground on a \u00a338m wellbeing and leisure centre in Caerphilly, transforming disused land into a major new community facility.<\/p>\n

The scheme is being delivered with Alliance Leisure for Caerphilly County Borough Council and forms a key part of the town\u2019s 2035 regeneration plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The scheme is designed by Watson Batty and managed by Hadron Consulting.<\/p>\n

Located near Caerphilly\u2019s public transport interchange, the new hub will transform a patch of disused scrubland into a flagship destination offering a wide range of facilities for residents of all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n

The timber-clad building will include a six-lane swimming pool, fitness and health suites, squash courts, cycle and studio spaces.<\/p>\n

The project is being backed by \u00a320m from the UK Government\u2019s Levelling Up Fund, with the rest funded through council reserves.<\/p>\n
