lead its \u00a31bn-plus new hospital project as part of the Government\u2019s flagship New Hospital Programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"795\">P+HS Architects has been named as lead consultant for the major rebuild of Airedale General Hospital, supported by AHR and Hospital 2.0 specialists HDR.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"795\">The Keighley hospital in West Yorkshire is one of the first projects to move forward under Wave 1 of the Government\u2019s \u00a320bn New Hospital Programme.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"795\">Construction is expected to start in 2027 to 2028, once design work and approvals are completed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"795\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"488804\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.creaghconcrete.com%2Fproducts%2Fspantherm%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CE-spantherm.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"795\">The new facility will replace the existing crumbling RAAC-framed building with a next-generation hospital focused on sustainability, modern construction methods and digital healthcare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"973\">Engineering firms Curtins and AECOM are onboard to handle structural and MEP design, with Gleeds acting as project manager and Archus providing additional healthcare expertise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1251\">Alastair Stewart, programme director at Airedale, said: \u201cThe team will support us to deliver the Hospital 2.0 model in a way that best meets the needs of the population we serve.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1251\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"468489\" data-end=\"1487\">AECOM is leading on energy-efficient building services, while Curtins will handle structures and highways work.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1683\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu
