The firm works across power networks, infrastructure and energy projects, and is now aiming to grow its footprint in the onshore and offshore wind sectors.<\/p>\n<p>All existing staff will be retained under the deal, and the company plans to double its workforce over the next year as it gears up to meet rising demand for grid connection and commissioning services.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"497328\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ciobacademy.org%2Fcourses%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CIOB Academy Training MPU (300x250) May 2025.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>GEG Capital is the investment arm of Global Energy Group (GEG), a diversified Scottish industrial services group with operations across ports, engineering, logistics and renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p>Headquartered in Inverness, GEG owns and operates the Port of Nigg on the Cromarty Firth, one of the UK\u2019s key fabrication and marshalling facilities for offshore wind and energy projects.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition of APS includes 100% of shares from founder Paul Oakes.
