He added that tight project selection and risk management had driven the uplift, with a \u00a31.6bn order book now in place (2024: \u00a31.4bn) and more work coming directly from end clients.<\/p>\n
The firm reported \u00a392m in cash and investments, up from \u00a370m, with no external debt and net assets of \u00a3141m.<\/p>\n
NG Bailey is targeting infrastructure sectors aligned with the UK\u2019s net zero agenda and economic resilience \u2013 including rail, healthcare, defence and nuclear \u2013 as part of its strategy to buffer against market volatility.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\nIts newly-formed Built Environment Division, which combines engineering, facilities services and EV infrastructure, delivered year-on-year growth in both sales and profit.<\/p>\n
Bailey’s Freedom electricity infrastructure arm remained a key profit driver, supported by partnerships with UK Distribution Network Operators and the push for grid resilience.<\/p>\n
The fast-growing EV infrastructure business is also building momentum, with several major contracts delivered and a healthy pipeline in place as demand for decarbonised transport grows.<\/p>\n
The group also invested in a new 25,000 sq ft Leeds HQ.<\/p>\n
