Amazon has confirmed plans to invest \u00a340bn in the UK over the next three years including building four new fulfilment centres and new delivery stations nationwide.<\/p>\n

The giant fulfilment centres will be in Hull, Northampton and two in the East Midlands.<\/p>\n

Other schemes will include opening two new buildings at Amazon\u2019s corporate HQ in East London and the redevelopment of the historic Bray Film Studios in Berkshire.<\/p>\n

The investment also includes part of the \u00a38bn previously announced in September 2024 for building, operating, and maintaining data centres in the UK.<\/p>\n

Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, said: “When Amazon invests, it\u2019s not only in London and the South East \u2013 we\u2019re bringing innovation and job creation to communities throughout England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, strengthening the UK\u2019s economy and delivering better experiences for customers wherever they live.\u201d<\/p>\n
