The long standing Managing Director of steel fabrication specialist Shufflebottom is moving to an advisory ambassadorial position after 25 years of leading the business.<\/p>\n

The move by Alex Shufflebottom comes 16 months after the South Wales based firm was acquired by steel acquisition business Embrace.<\/p>\n

Alex joined Shufflebottom 25 years ago and has ushered overseen a period of growth at the business originally founded by her parents Lorna and Martin Shufflebottom, in 1977.<\/p>\n

During her tenure, Alex, together with her brother Wesley and business partner Alec, have grown the family firm from \u00a312m turnover to \u00a325m with over 85 employees.<\/p>\n

She played a pivotal role during Embrace\u2019s acquisition of Shufflebottom in April 2024 and will continue to provide counsel to the new management team at Shufflebottom and the wider Embrace Steel Group in her new role as Ambassador.<\/p>\n

Alex Shufflebottom, said: \u201cWe\u2019ve achieved so much over the last 25 years but I\u2019m most proud of being able to maintain Shufflebottom\u2019s family-business values.<\/p>\n
