New build activity held up, rising 0.6% in the month.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1183\">Biggest falls came from non-housing repair and maintenance, down 2.4%, and private housing R&amp;M, which dropped 1.8%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1183\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"485184\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vpgroundforce.com%2Fgb%2Fpiling-equipment%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction_enquirer_advert%26utm_medium%3Dmpu%26utm_campaign%3Dmpu_cequirer_october%23enquire+%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Piletec MPU Ad 300_250px.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1379\">Despite the May setback, the three-month picture remains positive.
