As part of this development, we will also be creating local jobs and apprenticeships, building a local supply chain and adding value to the local economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Design work is already underway, with construction due to start in early 2026, and completion expected in 2028.<\/p>\n<p>The former sheltered housing scheme, Cripps Lodge, was demolished in 2020 after falling into disuse.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"462809\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vpgroundforce.com%2Fgb%2Fpipe-stoppers%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/stoppers SS PTS MPU Ad 300_250px.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The scheme, originally designed by DCa Architects, is now being progressed by RG+P under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA), working closely with Higgins into delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Higgins Partnerships was appointed following a formal procurement process through the Pretium Framework.<\/p>\n<p>Cllr Ed Hume, Cabinet Member for Housing at Milton Keynes City Council said, \u201cIt&#8217;s really important that we make good use of sites that are no longer fit for purpose.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There\u2019s a desperate need for new council homes and I\u2019m pleased that we\u2019re making progress at Cripps Lodge.
