{"id":7002,"date":"2025-08-04T08:47:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-04T08:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=7002"},"modified":"2025-08-04T08:47:00","modified_gmt":"2025-08-04T08:47:00","slug":"go-ahead-for-london-major-hospital-to-resi-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/go-ahead-for-london-major-hospital-to-resi-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"Go-ahead for London major hospital-to-resi scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"191\" data-end=\"361\">Developer TT Group has secured planning approval to revive the iconic Ravenscourt Park Hospital in Hammersmith with a residential-led overhaul of the long-vacant Art Deco landmark.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"363\" data-end=\"583\">Hammersmith and Fulham Council backed the developer\u2019s plans to create 140 homes, a 65-bed care home and new community space on the 3.87-acre site, originally opened by King George V in 1933 as the Royal Masonic Hospital.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"787\">Designed by SPPARC, the scheme will restore and convert all four red-brick Grade II* listed blocks on the site \u2013 untouched since the hospital\u2019s closure in 2006 \u2013 with a later 1970s block to be replaced.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"787\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2025-08-04-at-09.40.28-scaled.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-500263\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2025-08-04-at-09.40.28-scaled.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1060\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"787\">\n<p data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"1040\">The revived scheme will reintroduce distinctive modernist design features including welded steel balconies, geometric brickwork and marble interiors.
