{"id":7038,"date":"2025-08-05T08:47:01","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T08:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=7038"},"modified":"2025-08-05T08:47:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T08:47:01","slug":"clegg-wins-80m-leeds-office-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/clegg-wins-80m-leeds-office-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"Clegg wins \u00a380m Leeds office scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"273\">Clegg Construction has bagged the main contract for a major new office scheme in Leeds city centre for Prescient Capital.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"479\">The \u00a380m redevelopment will see the 1980s-built Wellington Plaza on Wellington Street flattened to make way for an eight-storey, 80,000 sq ft Grade A office block, now rebranded as 31 Wellington Street.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"703\">Prescient Capital, which now owns 100% of the project after buying out joint venture partner Asset Capital, secured planning last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"703\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"439734\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.intersteels.com%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Retro-FitsteelspecialistsGIF-ezgif.com-resize.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"703\">The site sits opposite MEPC\u2019s Wellington Place and is a short walk from Leeds station.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"822\">Site prep works are already underway with demolition starting in September and full completion expected by July 2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"1060\">The landmark office will target top ESG credentials including EPC A, BREEAM Outstanding, NABERS 5 Star, Fitwell 3 Star and WiredScore Platinum.
