{"id":7212,"date":"2025-08-14T06:46:34","date_gmt":"2025-08-14T06:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=7212"},"modified":"2025-08-14T06:46:34","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T06:46:34","slug":"andrew-scott-wins-role-on-swanseas-next-big-office-build","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/andrew-scott-wins-role-on-swanseas-next-big-office-build\/","title":{"rendered":"Andrew Scott wins role on Swansea\u2019s next big office build"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"90\" data-end=\"304\">Contractor Andrew Scott has landed the pre-construction role on Swansea\u2019s flagship city centre office scheme next to the former St David\u2019s Shopping Centre.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"469\">Swansea Council has appointed the contractor to complete detailed designs and market testing for the five-storey development, which will house up to 800 workers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"636\">The project, part of the wider regeneration of the St David\u2019s site, will see high-quality offices above ground-floor commercial space for food, drink or leisure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"636\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"482928\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbrilliantideasltd.co.uk%2Fproducts%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/7175-BI---MPU-for-plastics_final 2.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"638\" data-end=\"874\">The council will occupy one floor, with the remainder let to public and private sector tenants.
