Galliford Try has confirmed Thomas Faulkner will join its Executive Board next month as new head of its specialist services division.<\/p>\n

Faulkner spent 27 years at Skanska – the last ten as executive vice president – before leaving in a boardroom reshuffle last December.<\/p>\n

He will succeed Mark Baxter, Executive Board member and Divisional Managing Director of Specialist Services at Skanska who is retiring at the end of the year.<\/p>\n

Bill Hocking, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said: \u201cMark has played an instrumental role in the Group\u2019s success, overseeing the growth of our Investments and FM businesses; the successful sale of Rock and Alluvium, and gearing up Digital Infrastructure, Asset Intelligence and Oak for the next part of our Sustainable Growth Strategy.<\/p>\n

“We have carefully planned for Mark\u2019s departure, which reflects his long-term plan to retire and thank him for his excellent contribution to Galliford Try over many years.<\/p>\n
