Plans for a new \u00a3100m residential scheme have been submitted to Leeds City Council containing 504 new homes across six multi-storey towers.<\/p>\n

The scheme designed by Ollier Smurthwaite Architects will sit across six blocks of between five and 12 storeys in height including retail space, residents lounge and private dining area, cinema, gym, co-working office and a pool.<\/p>\n

The New Foundry Square scheme on a currently vacant site to the west of Leeds city centre spans 3.7 acres.<\/p>\n

The planning application was on behalf of Forshaw Land and Property Group and Your Housing Group.<\/p>\n

Lyndon Forshaw, managing director at Forshaw Group, said: \u201cNew Foundry Square represents a bold new chapter for Kirkstall Road and sets a new benchmark for development in Leeds.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just about delivering homes – it\u2019s about creating a vibrant, inclusive community for all generations.”<\/p>\n

Matt Ollier, director at Ollier Smurthwaite, added: \u201cThe schemes design has been influenced by the sites rich industrial heritage and provides multi-generational living with new public garden and community square.\u201d<\/p>\n
