The founder of collapsed M&E specialist Michael J Lonsdale has joined former rival SES as a non-executive director.<\/p>\n

SES said Michael Hoodless will “support senior leadership with delivering ambitious strategic growth.”<\/p>\n

Hoodless founded Michael J. Lonsdale in 1986 and it grew to become the dominant M&E contractor in London.<\/p>\n

But the business collapsed in 2023 owing \u00a365m to the supply chain.<\/p>\n

Hoodless will support SES\u2019s senior leadership team in areas including governance, strategic growth, and complex project delivery, helping to shape the company\u2019s direction as it expands into new markets and technologies.<\/p>\n

Rob Clifford, Executive Managing Director of SES, said: \u201cMichael\u2019s experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our position in the market.<\/p>\n

“He has built and led one of our industry\u2019s most influential MEP companies and his perspective will help us sharpen our focus on operational excellence and long-term value creation.\u201d<\/p>\n
