Guernsey-based developer LWP Redbank has unveiled plans for two residential towers rising to 43 and 18 storeys on a key site at Cheetham Hill in Manchester\u2019s planned \u00a34bn Victoria North regeneration.<\/p>\n

The 50\u201354 Red Bank scheme will deliver 509 flats, with shared amenities, landscaped outdoor areas and sweeping city views.<\/p>\n

At street level, the plans include commercial units to complement the thriving Red Bank arches and more than 2,000 sq m of public space linking to the historic viaduct.<\/p>\n

Two planning applications will be submitted once public consultation is finished, one for the towers and surrounding public realm, and another to progress wider access improvements to the viaduct.<\/p>\n

Current occupier GRUB will relocate to make way for the development.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the project team said: \u201cThese proposals bring forward much-needed homes, alongside new public space and active ground floor uses that will add to the life of the area.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Red Bank is fast becoming a creative and vibrant part of Manchester, and our vision is to build on this character to create a distinctive new neighbourhood.”<\/p>\n

The plans align with Manchester City Council\u2019s Northern Gateway Strategic Regeneration Framework, which aims to deliver 15,000 homes over the next 10\u201315 years.<\/p>\n

Designed to be largely car-free, the development will feature cycle parking, pedestrian links, and low-carbon technologies such as air source heat pumps.<\/p>\n
