The Crown Commercial Service has opened bidding on its \u00a33.5bn pan-Government construction consultants framework.<\/p>\n

Around 25 incumbent consultants are now facing a battle to hold onto their places on the Construction Professional Services 2 framework.<\/p>\n

The four-year framework is scheduled to start in February 2026 and will be open to departments and public sector clients across the UK.<\/p>\n

Construction Professional Services 2 (RM6356) deal will tighten competition in sensitive areas such as defence, nuclear and flood risk, with reduced supplier slots and stricter requirements on security clearance and specialist expertise.<\/p>\n

Bids are due 3pm, 20 October 2025, with awards targeted for 16 February 2026 and the framework running 26 February 2026\u201325 February 2030.<\/p>\n
