{"id":7776,"date":"2025-09-12T11:46:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T11:46:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=7776"},"modified":"2025-09-12T11:46:24","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T11:46:24","slug":"john-sisk-son-returns-to-profit-as-uk-investment-pays-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/john-sisk-son-returns-to-profit-as-uk-investment-pays-off\/","title":{"rendered":"John Sisk &#038; Son returns to profit as UK investment pays off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John Sisk &amp; Son Limited is back in the black as investment in the UK contracting business continues to pay-off.<\/p>\n<p>Latest results for the UK operation of the Sisk Group show turnover for 2024 up to \u00a3625m from \u00a3475m generating a pre-tax profit of \u00a36m compared to a loss of \u00a39.7m last time.<\/p>\n<p>The numbers reflect an enhanced performance across a number of key sectors including commercial, sports &amp; leisure, residential, infrastructure, healthcare, and life sciences.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"500731\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsisk.com%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sisk-Construction-Enquirer-Ad-MPU-300x250px_V1.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sisk also recently agreed to acquire Farrans Construction, strengthening its capability in infrastructure delivery across the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Steven McGee, Chief Operating Officer of Sisk, said: \u201cFY2024 was an improved year for us, following a challenging period marked by legacy projects.
