<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe order book now stands at \u00a34.1bn, up from \u00a33.8bn, giving good future visibility with 92% of revenue already secured for the current financial year and 75% for 2027, a company forward work record.<\/p>\n
Chief executive Bill Hocking said Galliford Try had delivered another strong year with improvements in revenue, profit, margin and cash.<\/p>\n
He said the firm was now ideally positioned to benefit from government investment in water, highways, defence, custodial, education and affordable homes.<\/p>\n
Hocking said: “Revenue growth was expected flatten during the transition in the crucial water sector from AMP7 to AMP8 but after that water work is starting to look very strong for 27\/28.”<\/p>\n

“We remain confident of further margin improvement on the path to a 4% divisional margin by 2030.<\/p>\n
Infrastructure revenues grew 11% to \u00a3903m with profit up 36% to \u00a327m at a 3% margin.<\/p>\n
New work included positions on National Grid\u2019s \u00a359bn framework, NEPO\u2019s \u00a31bn civils framework, Banwell Bypass in North Somerset and Yorkshire Water\u2019s \u00a3850m AMP8 non-infrastructure deal. The infrastructure order book now totals \u00a31.69bn.<\/p>\n
Building revenues edged up 3% to \u00a3965m with profit up 17% to \u00a328m at a 2.9% margin.<\/p>\n

Major wins included Ministry of Justice fire safety schemes at HMP Wakefield and HMP Moorland and a \u00a363m job at RAF Digby, alongside \u00a3133m of work transferred from ISG\u2019s administration. The building order book increased to \u00a32.45bn.<\/p>\n
The strong performance over the year saw net cash climb to \u00a3238m with average month-end cash of \u00a3179m.<\/p>\n
That supported a 23% rise in the full-year dividend to a record 19p a share and plans for another \u00a310m share buyback on top of the \u00a310m programme completed earlier this year.<\/p>\n
