Concrete frame specialist Byrne Bros led the way, driving revenues up 18% to \u00a3100.5m and operating profit 26% higher at \u00a34.3m, thanks to major infrastructure and energy-from-waste projects.<\/p>\n

Building and fitout specialist Ellmer Construction boosted turnover by a third to \u00a381m, with new wins in hotels and high-end residential, though operating profit dipped 8% to \u00a32.4m as margins tightened.<\/p>\n
Groundworks contractor O\u2019Keefe Construction kept in profit despite turnover sliding 46% to \u00a316m, while O\u2019Keefe Demolition swung from a modest \u00a327,000 profit to \u00a3400,000 on stable \u00a33.3m revenues.<\/p>\n
Looking forward, Byrne Bros is broadening into defence and data centres while continuing on HS2 and the Atomic Weapons Establishment. Ellmer has a strong London order book including a major care home scheme in Kensington and the new Allen Stand at Lord\u2019s Cricket Ground.<\/p>\n

The O\u2019Keefe businesses are bedding in as part of an \u201cend-to-end\u201d offer, supporting care schemes and stadium redevelopments alongside core group projects.<\/p>\n
