across two East Midlands sites under the Ministry of Defence\u2019s \u00a35.1bn estate modernisation drive.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"557\">The Defence Infrastructure Organisation confirmed Bovis will deliver major upgrades at Kendrew Barracks in Rutland and Bulwell Army Reserve Centre in Nottingham.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"557\">Construction work is now due to start in autumn 2026 following detailed design and development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"557\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"500482\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsolatube.co.uk%2Fcommercial%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sola Systems Display Button (300 x 250 px).gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"938\">At Kendrew Barracks, the project will create new single living accommodation for junior ranks, alongside regimental offices, medical and catering facilities and wider site infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"938\">The Barracks will also become home to 36 Engineer Regiment, relocating from Maidstone, with other unit moves planned from Grantham, Telford and Nottingham to enable disposal of older sites.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1036\">Bulwell ARC will see new unit offices, secure storage facilities and a band practice building.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1036\">\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"124439\" Smith CBE, director of basing and infrastructure, said: \u201cThis project will improve quality of life for both Regular and Reserve personnel, while supporting military capability and delivering a
