Morgan Sindall has once again upgraded it profit forecast after another strong surge in performance at its Overbury fit-out business.<\/p>\n

The firm this morning said that since its half year trading statement this summer, it now anticipates 2025 will be ‘significantly ahead of its previous expectations’.<\/p>\n

The fit-out division has outperformed across trading and delivery, pushing its order book up to \u00a31.6bn at the end of August \u2013 8% higher than both the half-year and the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

Around \u00a3900m of that is already secured for 2026 and beyond, underlining momentum into next year.<\/p>\n

The wider group\u2019s secured workload also rose to \u00a312.2bn, 7% up on last year\u2019s position, while daily average net cash for the year is now expected to come in above \u00a3350m, beating earlier guidance of \u00a3330m.<\/p>\n

Partnership Housing profits are tracking in line with expectations, bolstered by long-term regeneration schemes including 3,500 homes at Druids Heath in Birmingham and 2,500 in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan.<\/p>\n

Mixed use partnerships remains a drag on results as second-half operating losses are expected to nearly double the \u00a31.5m posted in the first half, reflecting heavy investment in schemes still to reach site.<\/p>\n

Construction and Infrastructure divisions are on track to hit targets with solid order book growth, while property services continues to deliver a modest profit.<\/p>\n
