Train operator Greater Anglia has unveiled the winners of its \u00a3174m civils and building works framework, lining up 18 contractors to deliver station, depot, M&E and painting upgrades across the East Anglia network.<\/p>\n

The framework, run by Transport UK East Anglia, has been split into four lots under a restricted procedure and covers both lineside and non-lineside assets.<\/p>\n

Successful firms include C Spencer, Amalgamated Construction, Capel (C.S), Walker Construction and a strong cohort of SMEs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Each lot can run call-off contracts of any value, with an option to extend the framework by up to three years in one-year blocks.<\/p>\n

Bidding was intense with up to 21 bidders chasing individual lots as Greater Anglia bolsters supply-chain depth ahead of a new round of renewals and station improvements.<\/p>\n
